Corrugated cardboard plastic

Corrugated cardboard plastic
Modern ecological(recyclable) alternative to non-returnable and returnable packaging. Cardboard-plastic serves as a durable substitute to conventional cardboard with some additional benefits.
Carboard-plasitc is made using continuous Polypropylene granulate extrusion. Both cover layers are reinforced with central directional ribbing, resembling corrugated cardboard. The ribbing forms long stiff channels in the direction of the production. Thanks to this property, the cardboard-plastic is rigid and flexible at the same time. Cardboard-plastic is also manufactured in various colors, densities, widths and special treatments such as ESD layer to protect the stored product from static electricity.

Wide range of use, mainly in industrial logistics and returnable packaging:

  • automotive and logistics - boxes, separators, interlayers
  • pharmacy
  • food industry
  • electrotechnical industry (ESD treatment)
Cardboard-plastic properties

Based mainly on the physical properties of polypropylene and manufacture procedures.

  • firm, lightweight
  • mechanically durable
  • water resistant, UV resistant
  • chemically inert
  • non-toxic (most standard colors are suitable for storing food)
  • print
  • heat resistance from -30 ° C up to 75 ° C
  • very flexible (it does not break even after 1000 bends)
Cardboard-plastic options

These custom parameters are determined by various additives added to the processed polypropylene before the start of an extrusion.

  • antistatic treatment
  • UV stabilization
  • ESD design 10/4-10/6 Ω
  • V2 self-extinguishing
  • anticorrosive
  • antistatic design 10/9-10/12 Ω
  • decorative boards
  • lamination of boards - paper, PE foam, foils, fabrics etc.
  • printing (screen printing, flexographic printing, digital printing)
Advantages of our carboard-plastic products:

  • they are based on properties and possibilities of this material, which complement the advantages of it's technological processing (plotting, cutting)

For example :

  • low weight
  • high mechanical and chemical resistance
  • production of small and large series without the need for initial investment in production preparation
